Incestual Realization of Han Solo

WATCH IT HERE!

Floating around the internet is a famous picture of the moment Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher learn that their Star Wars characters are actually siblings. However, gone undocumented are Harrison Ford’s thoughts on this – this fanmade edit shows exactly that.

Cool 3D World

WATCH IT HERE!

Wanna get weird? Like really, really weird? Cool 3D World is what dreams and nightmares are made of. I have no clue what goes through the creator’s mind and there’s very little information about him, his channel, and his films — making it that much weirder. I really can’t even explain to you what Cool 3D World -is-, you just gotta see for yourself. Be prepared to get a little cray!

Curve

WATCH IT HERE!

Eschewing typical hallmarks like jump scares, cheesy creatures, fake blood, and laughable dialogue, we’re instead set up with a simple premise: Don’t. Fall. Off. From there, Egan finds clever ways to keep us engaged and clutching at our own seats in fright. HEYOOOO! For fans of geometry and masonry.

Twilight Zone Episode #526: I Am The Night, Color Me Black

WATCH IT HERE!

While not all of us spend July 4th enjoying the Twilight Zone Marathon, I’m always sucked in at some point during the day.  This year, I was particularly moved by this episode.  The Twilight Zone has this amazing ability to stay current no matter how old it gets, and I think the chilling sentiment of this episode is not lost.  The story is of a man who may or may not be guilty of murder (the politics of the law enforcement and the “crowd” mentality force the issue), and on the day of his execution, the sun does not rise over this small town. It seems even more spot on today than the day it was made.  Certainly worth a watch.

Dear White People

Dear White People

WATCH THE TRAILER HERE!

Recently I’ve been watching Netflix’s series Dear White People, a comedy drama based on the film of the same name that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2014. I definitely was not sure what to expect going into the first episode, but I quickly found the show’s characters interesting and their independent storylines well spun. The series is visually enticing and the vision well executed, and I still can’t stop laughing at some of the jokes that were made (even though it’s been a full 48 hours since I finished the first season). I can’t imagine the difficulties of walking the fine line of satire in creating this series; needless to say I am very excited for the second season.

WATCH IT HERE!

Made by a husband & wife team of indie animators (who are also probably the cutest humans on planet earth) this “mini show” is so freaking adorable & weird, you just have to watch it right this dang minute!! Everything about it is just the best, from the relentlessly goofy art style to its surprisingly tender narrative about the joys of friendship. Not convinced yet? I got two words for ya: pizza portal.
